These records will need to behandled manually on SRIPREL.The process works as follows:If a tape ID selected by SRRSRIN contains multiple occurrences of John Smith withthe same date of birth or SSN, then when the Auto Load (Skip Dup Chk) parameteris set to Y, the first occurrence of John Smith will be flagged as NEW (or MATCHED),and the record will immediately be loaded to Banner.If subsequent occurrences of the same John Smith are evaluated on the same tape,each one will be found to be matched against the prior record for John Smith thatwas already loaded as NEW (or MATCHED) to Banner. Prior to the availability of theAuto Load (Skip Dup Chk) parameter, each occurrence of John Smith with samedate of birth or SSN would have been flagged as a duplicate on tape. Duplicates thenneeded to be handled manually on SRIPREL.Note: When the Auto Load (Skip Dup Chk) parameter is set to Y, the value forthe Report Type parameter in SRRSRIN will be ignored.Duplicate ProcessingIf the Auto Load (Skip Dup Chk) parameter is set to N, the Report Typeparameter value will be passed to SRRSRIN, and the check for duplicateson tape will occur.Duplicate processing has also been modified as part of this problem resolution.If the Auto Load (Skip Dup Chk) parameter is set to N, then duplicate processingwill now run before match processing. In addition, duplicate processing performsthe following checks:1. If two records have the same SSN, they will be marked as duplicates.2.
