Section 13 Problem ResolutionsAcademic History Module• The fields: attempted_hours, degree_attempt_tot,degree_gpa_hrs_tot, degree_passed_total, earn_hours,gpa_hours, total_attempt_hours, total_earn_hours,total_gpa_hours, trans_attempt_hours, trans_earn_hours, andtrans_gpa_hours have been increased to a length of 13 and the mask toa length of 99999990.999.• The fields: degree_gpa_tot_T04, gpa, total_gpa, and trans_gpa havebeen increased to a length of 14 and the mask to a length of990.999999999.• The fields: degree_points_tot, qpoints, total_q_points, andtrans_q_points have been increased to a length of 16 and the formatmask to a length of 99999990.999999.• The credits format mask has been changed to a length of 9990.099.• The quality_points format has been changed to a length of 099.999.• The total_inprogress_credits format has been changed to a lengthof 99999990.999.• The length of the record variable has been increased from 81 to 94characters.Please see the Academic History chapter of the Student User Guide for an updatedreport sample.SHREDIY (#82009)If a student had in-progress courses but had no academic history, EDI was notprinting data in the sediflt.dat file regarding the student's in-progress courses.This has been corrected. Resolved in Release 6.1.SHREDIY (#80919)Two issues have been resolved:• SHREDIY did not write the name of the transfer institution into the SC recordunless there was an attendance period begin date. That date is not required inSHATRNS, so the process should check for a description instead of the date.Corrections were made so that the transfer institution prints in thesediflt.dat file when no attendance start and end dates are recorded inSHATRNS.• SHREDIY was not populating the quality points field on the C1 record fortransfer courses. This field was populated correctly for institutional courses.Because of this, CRS12 was null for all transfer work on our EDI transcripts.The quality points are now displaying correctly for transfer work in thesediflt.dat files.Resolved in Release 6.1.January 2005 Student Release 7.0Confidential Release Guide 379
