AMCAS is combining the file layouts used forAMCAS and non-AMCAS schools into one layout. This new layout has five new fieldsat the end, only one of which is required. This new DELROW field is used to indicatethat the prior action sent for an applicant needs to either be corrected or deleted.The other four fields are NULL. Also, you can no longer use the NA decision codeto identify rows that are in error.The sinserul2.sql script is used to add a new row to SAAERUL where the valuein the Group field is ADMS, the value in the Rule Label field is AMCASDELCODE,the value in the Rule Description field is AMCAS Delete Decision Code, and the valuein the Value field is D. This script is delivered by SunGard SCT.SARAMXF retrieves the most recent decision row for an applicant using theSAVAMC2 view. The date of this decision code record is verified as greater than orequal to the value in the SABSUPL_AGENCY_REPORT_DATE field. If this is the case, theprocess continues. Otherwise, the process goes to the next applicant/application. Ifthe decision code (SAVAMC2_ADMIT_ACTION_CODE) equals the decision code in newAMCASDELCODE rule on SAAERUL, then the process finds the next most recentdecision row for the applicant where the decision code equals a decision code crossreferencedon SOAXREF, where the value in the EDI Label field is STVAPDC, andthe value in the EDI Qualifier field is AN%.Student Release 7.0 January 2005306 Release Guide Confidential
