Section 13 Problem ResolutionsAcademic History Module• Buttons are now enabled and disabled correctly when you navigate from andto the Key Block.• When you use Rollback or re-enter the form, the Key Block variables are nowsaved and populated.• When you use Rollback, the ID and name in the Key Block are remembered.Resolved in Release 6.1.SHATAEQ (#89014)SHRTGRD allows a grade code to be defined up to six characters in length, andpreviously, if the transfer grade was more than three positions, SHATAEQ wouldgive the following error when rolling the transfer work to history: “FRM-40735:ROLL_TRTK trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-6502”. This has been corrected.Resolved in Release 6.1.SHATAEQ (#84868)It is no longer possible to save an institutional equivalent with a NULL subject code, course number, and/or credit hours. Previously, this was possible if one used O(override) in the articulation switch and accidentally nulled out the value in one ofthe required fields. Resolved in Release 6.1.SHATAEQ andSHKTAE1(#85303 and #84518)Two issues have been resolved:1. Previously, the articulation process did not always assign the correct number ofcredits to the equivalent courses. This issue resulted from the correction forproblem resolution #78302, which did not account for transfer courses thathad a range of possible credit values defined in the transfer catalog. As such, the articulation process has been modified so that the following logicwill be used when assigning credit hour values to equivalent courses:• If the Credits Used field in Equivalent Course block of SHATATR is notnull, assign that value to the equivalent course.• If the Calendar Type and Multiplier field for the institution defined in isnot null, calculate the equivalent course credits by multiplying thetransfer course's credits (as entered in SHATAEQ) by the value in theCalendar Type and Multiplier field.• If the value in the Calendar Type and Multiplier field on SOABGTA forthe institution is null, assign the value entered for the transfer course (asentered in SHATAEQ) to the equivalent course.2. If a user mistakenly entered an alpha character in the Attendance Period fieldand performed a Save, an error was received: "ERROR- "FRM-50016: Legalcharacters are 0-9- E". Also, the message looped so that the only method availableto stop the message was the termination of the Banner session.January 2005 Student Release 7.0Confidential Release Guide 371
