Section 13 Problem ResolutionsOverallSOASBGI (#89880)You can now use Previous Block to navigate through the three blocks on SOASBGI,without the Comments, Directions, and Text block being skipped. Resolved inRelease 7.0.SOASUPL (#95702)The Prior College field will now automatically change an alpha and/oralphanumeric code to upper case, when the STVSBGI code is entered directly intothe field in lower case. This will prevent the error that was occurring: "ERROR-Invalid SBGI code; press LOV for valid values." Resolved in Release 7.0.SOATERM (#84753)The comments on column for two fields on SOBTERM have been updated tocorrect Dynamic Help.• The comment for the SOBTERM_BYCRN_IND field is now “Assess fees by CRNIndicator.”• The comment for the SOBTERM_MIDTERM_WEB_IND field is now “Indicateswhether to allow mid-term grade display via the Web for the term.”Script sobterm1.sql is delivered to perform these updates.Resolved in Release 7.0.SOATERM,sinsssec.sql,sinsfsec.sql(#88327)As part of the Banner Student 6.0 upgrade, a script was included that incorrectlyinserted records into the SSBSSEC table (for students) and the SSBFSEC table (forfaculty) for all existing courses. Since SSBSSEC and SSBFSEC records existed, thesesection level settings overrode the setup on SOATERM. That gave the impressionthat the SOATERM Web display controls no longer functioned properly.To correct this, you can run the following scripts as BANINST1.• Script sinsssec2.sql will delete all existing SSBSSEC rows.• Script sinsfsec2.sql will delete all SSBFSEC rows built where thecorresponding SSBSECT_PTRM_CODE is not null, leaving any rows that havebeen built for open learning sections.Resolved in Release 6.2.SOATERM (#94157)The forms documentation now includes the Catalog Search Controls, the ScheduleSearch Controls, and the navigation needed to access them. The field definitions inthe Web Processing Controls window have been updated, and the fields in the WebDisplay Controls window have been added.
