Section 3 Concurrent Curricula Phase I - FunctionalCreating and Updating Curriculum DataCreating and Updating Curriculum DataThis section outlines the steps you need to follow to create new curriculum and fieldof study records, to change a major (or minor or concentration) within the samecurricula, or to change a major to one within a different curricula.Note: When you are inserting a new curriculum or field of study record, at leastone row with a Type of MAJOR must exist.If you are entering a field of study row for a concentration, then theOption List for the Field of Study field will display the choices AllConcentrations or Attached Concentrations. The AttachedConcentrations option will display all concentrations that are attachedeither to the base curriculum or to any of the majors entered so far.In addition, if you are entering a field of study row for a concentration,then the Attached to Major field will be enabled, and the List of Valuesfor the field will display a list of the majors to which this concentration isattached that have already been entered in the Field of Study block.Creating a Primary Curriculum with One Major and One MinorUse the following steps to create a primary curriculum record with one major andone minor:1. Use Next Block or select the Curricula tab (from the main window ofSRARECR, SAAADMS, SGASTDN, SFAREGS, or SHADEGR) to access theCurriculum window.2. Enter curriculum data in the Curriculum block fields including:(a) Set the Priority field to 2.(b)(c)Set the Program field to the code for your program.If the program entered allows multiple campuses, enter the correctcampus code in the Campus field.3. Use Next Block to access the Field of Study block.4.
