Section 13 Problem ResolutionsCAPP ModuleSMRCMPL (#67242)Previously, if major, concentration, and/or minor information was included in theAdditional Curriculum window of SMARQCM, those areas were processed to theexclusion of major, concentration, and/or minor information that had beenentered in the Compliance Curriculum window. This has been corrected. Resolvedin Release 6.2.SMRCMPL (#78842)Previously, when a rule was used in a group, if the detail requirement had amaximum number of courses specified, more than that number may have beenused. This occurred when two courses that could have been applied to the samerequirement were duplicates. Also, values of actual credits and courses used in ruleumbrella were incorrect. This has been corrected. Resolved in Release 6.2.SMRCMPL (#73840)Previously, when multiple rules were used in an area, a course that should have beensplit, with its credits applied to two of the rules, was not being used correctly. Creditswere not being applied to the second rule. Also, the rule was marked as met, but itsdetail requirement was not. This occurred regardless of whether sets and subsetswere used on the detail lines in the rules. This has been corrected. Resolved inRelease 6.2.SMRCMPL (#72144)Previously, when a rule umbrella had allowed a total maximum number of credits, and the rule detail lines each allowed a maximum number of credits that was lessthan the value in the umbrella, a course might have been split and have itsremaining credits applied incorrectly to a different detail requirement within therule. This has been corrected. Resolved in Release 6.2.SMRCMPL (#72859)In some cases in which list processing was in effect, a course was not being appliedto a detail requirement when the overall condition was not met. This has beencorrected. Resolved in Release 6.2.SMRCMPL (#88215)Previously, when a requirement was defined in a way that a specific number ofcourses were needed, in some cases, zero credit courses might have been applied tothe requirement, but the requirement would not be met. As such, the conditionwould not be met, and neither would the area. This has been corrected. Resolved inRelease 6.2.SMRCMPL (#78926)Previously, rule processing did not always apply available courses when set/subsetvalues were null. This has been corrected. Resolved in Release 6.2.January 2005 Student Release 7.0Confidential Release Guide 393
