Section 13 Problem ResolutionsRegistration ModuleThis situation was resolved by the corrections made for problem resolutions #87360(SFRFASC listing students who did not have an assessment update) and #87325(posting of $0.00 to the TBRACCD record). Resolved in Release 6.1.SFKFEE1 (#87662)If the SFAFMAX data was created after SFRFASC had been initially run and then reassessmenttook place either online or in batch, the process did not recalculatetuition/fees based upon the new SFAFMAX rules. This has been corrected. Resolvedin Release 6.1.SFKFEE1 (#89145)When no refund periods were defined in a refund by total term, refunding usingESTS codes applied a 100% refund. It appeared that the process ignored theSFAESTS refund rules and only considered the SFARFND rules, if they were in effectfor the effective date of the change in enrollment status. If no SFARFND rules werein effect, the process refunded 100% of the fee.ESTS refunds can now be applied when refunding by total is used for the term. Thecode checks to see if the ESTS refunds are in effect, and the ESTS refunds are nowused correctly. Refund by total rules are still applicable, but if the ESTS rules arevalid for the date that the changed enrollment status is applied, the correct ESTSrefund percentage is used. Resolved in Release 6.1.SFKFEE1 andSFKFEES(#88907)Refunding by total did not calculate the correct refund by total penalty amountunder the following circumstances:1. Refunding by total was used, and clearing account detail codes were definedon SFARFND.2. Courses were charged per credit fees on SSADETL using section fees.3. There was a tuition discount defined on SFARGFE, which had been entered asa negative rule for course level and used a different detail code from the oneon SSADETL.The code for refunding by total has been modified to correctly use the "negativerules" as they apply and to assess the correct penalty amount based upon the newliability for all TUI or FEE DCAT detail codes, even if the detail codes used for thenegative rules are different than the detail codes used for the charges from thesection fees.Changes have also been made to SFKFEES so section fees are used correctly whenthe fee types of CRED and BILL are used with refunding by total processing.Resolved in Release 6.1.Student Release 7.0 January 2005358 Release Guide Confidential
