DS7200V2-EXP | Installation Guide | 2. System Installation and Setup EN | 252.6.5 DX2010 Tamper Input WiringEach DX2010 module provides an input for tamperdevices. The tamper input is in addition to the zonesensor loops. Supervising an enclosure tamper does notoccupy a zone. A fault on the tamper input is reportedas a tamper event to which the Data Bus address theDX2010 is set.The tamper input can monitor external NormallyClosed (N/C) tamper switches when wired as shown inFigure 32. The tamper circuit must be closed to provideproper Input Expander tamper supervision to thecontrol panel. Do not use an EOL resistor.Use either the tamper input or the on-board tamperswitch. Both cannot be used simultaneously.Figure 33: DX2010 No Tamper1+OUT- TMPR R B G Y 1 COMFigure 32: DX2010 Tamper Input Wiring1+OUT- TMPR R B G Y 1 COM21- DX2010 Module2- Tamper Jumper2.6.6 DX2010 Tamper-Wired Zone WiringFor tamper-wired sensor loop configuration, wire asshown in Figure 34.Figure 34: DX2010 Tamper-Wired Zone Wiring21- DX2010 Module2- External tamper switchThe DX2014 configuration includes a tamper spring.Do not use the DX2010 TMPR input in the DX2014configuration.The DX2010’s on-board tamper switch cannot be usedwhen it is mounted inside the control panel’s enclosure(wire the tamper input as shown in Figure 33 if installedin the control panel’s enclosure). If neither the tamper input nor the on-board tamperswitch is used, a wire must be placed as shown in Figure33.11 COM 233 COM 4 5 COM 6 7 COM 812 21- Tamper contact2- 2.2 kΩ EOL resistors3- Alarm contacts (programmable for eitherNormally Open or Normally Closed)Bosch Security Systems, Inc. | 2/09 | 4998153893-03
