It can send reports inContact ID, SIA 300, SIA 300 with Text, PersonalDialing Format, and Basic Pager Format.1.4.2 ZonesThe DS7240V2 supports up to 40 zones using on-boardand off-board (including input expanders and wirelessdevices). The DS7240V2 supports up to 5 DX2010Input Expanders.The DS7220V2 supports up to 24 zones using on-boardand off-board (including input expanders and wirelessdevices). The DS7220V2 supports up to 3 DX2010Input Expanders.On-board sensor loops are marked L-1 to L-8 on bothcontrol panel types.1.4.3 Areas and AccountsThe DS7240V2 supports up to 4 independent areas.The DS7220V2 supports up to 2 independent areas.All zones can be assigned to a single area, or spreadout over the available areas.Users arm and disarm the control panel by area, andcan arm and disarm several areas with one function.The installer can assign an authority level to a PIN thatallows a user to arm an area from a remote keypad inanother area.Assigning each area its own account number createsseparate accounts in one control panel. Assigning thesame account number to different areas groups themtogether into one account.Area options include exit tone and delay, separate fireand burglary outputs and auto opening and closingSkeds (see Sked Parameters on page 95 for moreinformation).Area 1 can be programmed as a “common” area. SeeArming Options 2 on page 62.A “First to Open, Last to Close” arming option isavailable (see Arming Options 2 on page 62).1.4.4 Programmable OutputsFour on-board programmable outputs (PO 1 to PO 4)are available on both control panels.The DS7240V2 supports up to 20 programmableoutputs (4 on-board, 16 off-board using two DX3010Output Expanders).The DS7220V2 supports up to 12 programmableoutputs (4 on-board, 8 off-board using one DX3010Output Expander).See On-board Output Setup on page 20 and Off-boardOutput Setup (DX3010) on page 28.1.4.5 UsersThe control panel allows up to 32 individual users.Each user is assigned a Personal Identification Number(PIN) and an authority level. Authority levelsdetermine which functions users can perform.1.4.6 KeyswitchUsers can arm and/or disarm any available area withmaintained or momentary closure devices such askeyswitches.
