benefits. Long-term survival and thriving is not a concern of management. But the Level<br />

2 (Transactional trust) influential partners by facilitating payments and other behavior. Business<br />

organizations follow corrective actions when partners complain of unilateral decisions.<br />

The next Level 3 (Relational trust) efforts to create an atmosphere of empathy. The agreements<br />

are intended to ensure long-term profitability for all parties. Consumers always pay<br />

on time. Suppliers respond to the specific requirements of users to create added value. To<br />

share benefits and risks. Business organizations proactively take into account the needs and<br />

welfare of others when making management decisions. The last Level 4 (Collaborative trust)<br />

there are intense, deep interactions supported by the collective decision-making. This eliminates<br />

unilateral decision. This is achieved through inter-organizational development strategies<br />

and formation of teams to jointly develop new products. Relationships are characterized<br />

Assessing levels of maturity of trust<br />

According to the author’s four levels of maturity of trust related to collaborative innovations<br />

are sufficient for practical application of the model, because these levels take into account<br />

all the factors identified in the literary study of trust maturity.<br />

In this model each of the critical success factors are evaluated to determine how well they<br />

are reached. In order to assess the maturity of trust associated with the collaborative innovations<br />

is developed specialized system for evaluation. With this system, is possible to test the<br />

current level of the trust among organizations realizing collaborative innovations and identify<br />

imperfect business processes that require improvement. The success factors are evaluated at<br />

ten point scale (1 to 10). Then, the results are averaged. The average scores lower than 7 are<br />

considered as weaknesses. The developed evaluation system includes three main criteria:<br />

– Approach. In this aspect is estimated commitment of an organization and willingness<br />

of its management for the implementation of trust evaluation and organizational competencies<br />

for practical application of collaborative innovations;<br />

– Deployment. In this aspect is estimated scope and progress of implementation of trust<br />

evaluation at various business actors;
