Delhi Metro Phase-3<br />

Delhi Metro Phase-3 and extensions covers a length of 135.003 km at a cost of<br />

` 41,078.79 crore.<br />

Bengaluru Metro Rail Project (Phase-1)<br />

The Bengaluru Metro Rail Project - Phase 1 comprises 42.3 km with 40 stations,<br />

North South and East-West Corridors. The project cost was revised to ` 13845.01<br />

crore in July, 2015. The 2.5 km stretch (Reach 3-B) between Jalahalli and<br />

Nagasandra has become operational from 01.05.2015. Reach-2 from Magadi<br />

Road to Mysore Road, measuring 6.5 km has become operational in 2015. The<br />

Underground-2 (MG Road to City Railway Station) of 4.8 km stretch was<br />

commissioned in 2016. The physical and financial progress of Phase-1 is 99.48<br />

per cent and 99 per cent respectively as on December, 2016.<br />

Bengaluru Metro Rail Project (Phase-2)<br />

Government of <strong>India</strong> approved the Bengaluru Metro Rail Project Phase-2 in<br />

2014 consisting of 61 stations and 72.095 km route length at a total cost of `<br />

26,405.14 crore. The physical and financial progress of Phase-2 is 7.50 per cent<br />

and 5.73 per cent respectively as on December, 2016.<br />

Chennai Metro Rail Project Phase-1<br />

The Chennai Metro Rail Project covers a total length of 45.046 km at a total<br />

estimated cost of ` 14,600 crore. An elevated stretch from Koyambedu to Alandur<br />

covering distance of 10.15 km with 7 stations opened for commercial operation<br />

in 2015, elevated stretch from Littlemount to Airport Station covering distance<br />

of 8.5 km with 5 stations opened for commercial operations in 2016 and an<br />

elevated stretch from Alandur to St. Thomas Mount Station covering distance<br />

of 1.2 km opened for commercial operation in 2016.<br />

Nagpur Metro Rail Project Nagpur<br />

Nagpur Metro Rail Project covers a length of 38.215 km along two corridors<br />

viz., Line-1 (North-South Corridor) covering 19.658 km and 17 stations from<br />

Automative Square to MIHAN and Line-2 (East-West Corridor) covering 18.557<br />

km and 19 stations from Prajapati Nagar to Lokmanya Nagar, with an estimated<br />

completion cost of ` 8,680 crore.<br />

Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project Phase-I<br />

Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project Phase-I consists of two corridors for a total length<br />

of 35.96 km namely (i) North-South Corridor (APMC to Motera Stadium-15.42<br />

km); and (ii) East West Corridor (Thaltej Gam to Vastral Gam-covering 20.54) at<br />

a total completion cost of ` 10,773 crore.
