with the nominalizing suffix –n (following vowels)/-n"i" (following voiceless consonants), with<br />

stress on the final syllable <strong>of</strong> the stem. <strong>The</strong> second type <strong>of</strong> experiencer construction shares the<br />

final vowel <strong>and</strong> stress pattern <strong>of</strong> the agentive nouns, even though intransitive verbs cannot take<br />

the habitual/detransitivizer -nVn. Most <strong>of</strong> the experiencer nouns <strong>of</strong> both types are prefixed with<br />

s'a-, which derives nouns from adjectives. <strong>The</strong> unprefixed adjectives (without #a-) do not seem to<br />

be grammatical.<br />
