Despite the exactness of the premises of both arguments, Farhan<br />

Khan insists that the Ahmadiyya Muslim understanding is<br />

incorrect. How strange!<br />

Secondly, it must be remembered that the term wahī ilhām<br />

that Farhan Khan uses several times is new <strong>to</strong> Islām. It has not<br />

been used by the Holy Qur’ān, the Holy Prophet <strong>Muhammad</strong> sa<br />

or his Companions ra . It seems <strong>to</strong> be a latter-day innovation <strong>to</strong><br />

differentiate between wahī and ilhām when in fact they both<br />

refer <strong>to</strong> the same thing. Farhan Khan says that it has been used<br />

by Hazrat Imam ‘Abd-ul-Wahhāb rh but he fails <strong>to</strong> produce<br />

quotations as proper evidence <strong>to</strong> his claims. The dictionary, Al-<br />

Munjid, makes the following entry on the word wahī:<br />
