64 <strong>With</strong> <strong>Love</strong> <strong>to</strong> <strong>Muhammad</strong> sa the Khātam-un-Nabiyyīn<br />

hereafter, there is no changing the words of Allāh -<br />

that indeed is the supreme achievement.’ (Chapter<br />

10, Verse 65). Again, the Holy Qur’ān says: ‘As for<br />

those who say, “Our Lord is Allāh”, and then remain<br />

steadfast, the angels descend on them, reassuring<br />

them: “Fear not, nor grieve and rejoice in the glad<br />

tidings of the gardens which were promised. We are<br />

your friends in this life and the hereafter. Therein will<br />

you have all that you will ask for”.’ (Chapter 41,<br />

Verses 31-32).<br />

These verses make it quite clear that the door of the<br />

non law-bearing revelation shall remain open for all<br />

true Muslims; and Muslim sages and Muslim saints<br />

shall continue <strong>to</strong> be exalted with this great blessing of<br />

God. Traditions of the Holy Prophet (sa) also tell us<br />

the same about revelation. (See Mishkat Al-Masabeeh).<br />

According <strong>to</strong> the Holy Qur’ān, therefore, this holy<br />

tree is flourishing in the most splendid manner and is<br />

giving its sweet fruit <strong>to</strong> the true believers, and this<br />

great blessing of Allāh shall continue so long as this<br />

world is in existence. 46<br />

In both the references, the given meaning of Khātam-un-Nabiyyīn<br />

is an established precedent by renowned Muslim saints and<br />

scholars and it does not exclusively represent the Ahmadiyya<br />

Muslim interpretation. The Ahmadiyya Muslim stance and<br />

exposition on the phrase Khātam-an-Nabiyyīn has already been<br />

discussed at length in the previous chapters. In reality, the false<br />
