Promised Messiah as on the<br />

Finality of Prophethood<br />

Below are a series of quotations of Hazrat Mirzā Ghulām<br />

Ahmad Qādiānī as , the Promised Messiah and Imām Mahdī, on the<br />

issue of the finality of prophethood. They expound his stance on this<br />

issue and serve <strong>to</strong> dispel misconceptions and misunderstandings about<br />

his writings that are spread by the anti-Ahmadiyya.<br />

My critic has further objected that God Almighty has said:<br />

دِيْنَكمُ‏ ْ عَلَيْكمُ‏ ْ نِعْمَتىِ‏ ْ<br />

لَكمُ‏ ُ<br />

اَكمْ‏ ‏َلْ‏ ‏ُت اَلْيَوْمَ‏ لَكمُ‏ ْ<br />

وَاَتْمَمْ‏ ‏ُت<br />

الاْ‏ ‏ِسْ‏ لاَ‏ مَ‏ دِيْنًا 312ؕ<br />

‏َورَ‏ ضِ‏ يْ‏ ‏ُت<br />

Therefore no reformer or prophet is now needed. In so thinking<br />

the critic has raised an objection against the Holy Qur’ān itself,<br />

inasmuch as the Holy Qur’ān has promised the appointment of<br />

successors from among the Muslims and has said that through<br />

them faith would be strengthened, doubts would be set at rest<br />

and security would be res<strong>to</strong>red after a state of fear. Thus, if<br />
