294 <strong>With</strong> <strong>Love</strong> <strong>to</strong> <strong>Muhammad</strong> sa the Khātam-un-Nabiyyīn<br />

ْ َ د َ ہ<br />

‏َبِ‎ aب َّ<br />

‏َم aالا ُ با ٓ ٓ ءِ‏ aولاaتوواaلاa<br />

وواaاِ‏ ‏َّہaخ َ ات<br />

Say, “He is the Khātam-ul-Anbiyā’,” but do not say,<br />

“There is no prophet after him.”<br />

She has categorically rejected Farhan Khan’s desired and<br />

concocted meanings. A more detailed discussion of this hadīth<br />

follows in the next section.<br />

In conclusion, it can be unders<strong>to</strong>od that the Holy<br />

Prophet sa spoke of the greatness of three mosques in the<br />

following order:<br />

1. Masjid Al-Harām – the best and greatest mosque<br />

2. Masjid An-Nabwī – the best of the mosques, except for<br />

Masjid Al-Harām<br />

3. Bait-ul-Muqaddas – another mosque which the Muslims<br />

should visit.<br />

This is how anyone, without preconceived notions and bias,<br />

would understand the statements of the Holy Prophet<br />

<strong>Muhammad</strong> sa . As a result, the Ahmadiyya Muslim<br />

understanding is logical, simple, and straightforward, while<br />

Farhan Khan’s understanding requires lengthy, unnecessary<br />

interpretations and faulty conclusions.<br />

Questions for Farhan Khan:<br />

1. Why would the Holy Prophet sa call his Mosque the last<br />

mosque in the same sentence where he is speaking of the<br />

greatness of his Mosque?<br />

2. Why doesn’t he accept the logical conclusions drawn by<br />

the Ahmadī Muslims instead of going in<strong>to</strong> extra-long
