270 With Love to Muhammad sa the Khātam-un-Nabiyyīn
Sūrah Al-Mu’min, 40:35-36
وَلَقَدْ‏ جَآءَكمُ‏ ْ يُوْسُ‏ فُ‏ مِنْ‏ قَبْلُ‏ ابِ‏ لْبَيّ‏ ‏ِنٰتِ‏ فَمَا زِلْتمُ‏ ْ فىِ‏ ْ شَ‏ كّ‏ ‏ِمَّا
جَآءَكمُ‏ ْ بِهٖؕ‏ ٰ حَتىّ‏ ٓ اِذَا هَكلَ‏ َ قُلْتمُ‏ ْ لَنْ‏ يَّبْعَثَ‏ اهللّ‏ ۢ بَعْدِ‏ ‏ٖه رَسُ‏ وْ‏ لاً‏ ؕ
كَذٰ‏ كلِ‏ َ يُضِ‏ لُّ‏ ٰ اهللّ‏ ُ مَنْ‏ هُوَ‏ مُسرْ‏ ‏ِفٌ‏ مُّرْ‏ اتَ‏ بٌ‏
ٍ مّ‏
ٰ ُ مِنْ‏
۝
ۖ ۚ
اۨذلَّ‏ ‏ِيْنَ‏ يجُ‏ ‏َادِلُوْ‏ نَ‏ فىِ‏ ْۤ اٰيٰتِ‏ ٰ اهللّ‏ ِ بِغَيرْ‏ ِ سُ‏ لْطٰ‏ نٍ‏ اَتٰ‎‏ُمْؕ‏ كَبرُ‏ َ مَقْتًا عِنْدَ‏
ٰ اهللّ‏ ِ وَعِنْدَ‏ اذلَّ‏ ‏ِيْنَ‏ اٰمَنُوْاؕ‏ كَذٰ‏ كلِ‏ َ يَطْ‏ بَعُ‏ اهللّ‏ ِ قَلْ‏ ‏ِب مُتَكَبرّ‏
ٍ ِ
ٰ ُ عَ‏ ‏ٰلى كلُ‏ ّ
جَبَّارٍ‏ ۝
And Joseph did come to you before with clear proofs,
but you ceased not to be in doubt concerning that
with which he came to you till, when he died, you
said: ‘Allāh will never raise up a messenger after
him.’ Thus does Allāh adjudge as lost those who
transgress, and are doubters, those who dispute
concerning the Signs of Allāh without any authority
having come to them. Grievously hateful is this in the
sight of Allāh and in the sight of those who believe.
Thus does Allāh seal up the heart of every arrogant,
haughty person.
