The <s<strong>tr</strong>ong>Adept</s<strong>tr</strong>ong> <s<strong>tr</strong>ong>Cobra</s<strong>tr</strong>ong> <s<strong>tr</strong>ong>s600</s<strong>tr</strong>ong>/<s<strong>tr</strong>ong>s800</s<strong>tr</strong>ong> Cleanroom Option is a modification to the standard robot<br />

that certifies the robot to meet the Class 3 Airborne Particulate Cleanliness Limits as<br />

defined by ISO Standard 14644 (Class 10 for Federal Standard 209E).<br />

NOTE: Class 1 Limits can be achieved by maintaining the robot speed at<br />

Speed 50 or below.<br />

This option is a factory-installed configuration. Changes to the robot include the addition<br />

of a bellows assembly mounted at the Joint 3 quill, fully sealed access covers, and a<br />

two-stage vacuum system to evacuate the arm. This vacuum system incorporates a<br />

<s<strong>tr</strong>ong>com</s<strong>tr</strong>ong>pressed air vacuum generator mounted in the base of the robot to provide a high<br />

vacuum in the outer link and bellows area. An additional high flow rate vacuum source is<br />

required to evacuate in the inner link and base.<br />
