T.G.O. Jordan Awarded by the Australian<br />

Memorial Prize Institute of Environmental<br />

Health Nictorian Division) to<br />

of the course. The annual prize<br />

is usually books or an attach6<br />

case to the value of $120.<br />

Undergraduate Scholarships<br />

Three or four scholarships available upon application from<br />

students completing first year of the chemistry or<br />

biochemistry courses. The scholarship value is $9000 per<br />

annum for three years.<br />

School of Computer Science and Software<br />

Engineering<br />

Postgraduate research scholarships for Master of Applied<br />

Science or Doctor of Philosophy are available under the<br />

following two schemes. (Entry qualifications of at least an<br />

honours degree or equivalent are required.)<br />

Fee Exemption Scholarship<br />

Scholarships covering tuition fees only are available to<br />

students who are not Australian Dermanent residents. These<br />

scholarships are awarded for one year in the first instance<br />

and may be extended. Additional income from tutorial<br />

duties may be available to students with appropriate skills.<br />

School Scholarship<br />

This scheme provides a stipend of $12 000 p.a. In addition, a<br />

teaching assistantship may be negotiated up to an additional<br />

$5100 p.a. The successful candidate may hold the<br />
