A national, independent, non-governmental organisation that promotes the<br />
rights <strong>of</strong> migrants through information, legal advice, advocacy, lobbying,<br />
research and publications, as well as training work. The organisation was<br />
set up by Sr Stanislaus Kennedy in 2001 in response to a need to support<br />
migrants coming to Ireland for purposes such as work, study, family<br />
reunification, self-employment or visit.<br />
