Monitors healthcare quality. Carries out assessment <strong>of</strong> health technology to<br />
ensure resources are used in a way which delivers the best outcome for the<br />
service user. The Social Services Inspectorate is placed within HIQA under the<br />
Health Act 2007. The work <strong>of</strong> the Inspectorate includes the inspection and<br />
