Aims that women <strong>of</strong> all ages in Ireland will know what they can and should<br />

expect in terms <strong>of</strong> risk, diagnosis, treatment, recovery and support in order<br />

to improve early detection rates and survival rates. Activities: promoting<br />

Irish Breast Cancer Charter and best practice in diagnosis and treatment<br />

through publications and information meetings; lobbying politicians and<br />

decision makers at local and national level; highlighting breast cancer issues<br />

through the media and making submissions to and participating in relevant<br />

government commissions and working groups.<br />
