Committed to finding treatments and cures for blindness and related sensory
loss through the funding, development and promotion of Irish research.
Provides information and support for those affected by degenerative blinding
conditions. Established the Insight Counselling Centre (Dublin) which
provides short-term crisis counselling, long-term individual psychotherapy,
couple and family therapy, group therapy and support group meetings.
Support group meetings are held monthly in the centre and branch meetings
are available in Cork, Limerick, Galway, the Midlands and Waterford.

to afford the professional services of accountants. Centres are open to the
public – usually in conjunction with Citizens Information Centres. Responses
can be given to written queries. Branches in Ballymun, Blanchardstown, Lucan,
Dun Laoghaire, Bray, Cavan, Cork, Limerick and Newbridge.
