Youth <strong>Information</strong> Centres provide a free, confidential information service<br />

to young people and those who work with them on a wide range <strong>of</strong> subjects<br />

including careers, education, rights and entitlements, employment matters,<br />

leisure, sport, travel and European opportunities. Centres also provide a<br />

variety <strong>of</strong> outreach activities bringing information to young people through<br />

information points, publications, workshops, seminars, exhibitions, local<br />

media and through schools and youth club work. Located around the<br />

country, the centres are a first point <strong>of</strong> contact for a young person seeking<br />

information on any subject <strong>of</strong> interest or concern.<br />
