designing, developing and delivering programmes and services that address<br />

the needs <strong>of</strong> the labour market and specific targeted groups. Through a<br />

regional network <strong>of</strong> 64 <strong>of</strong>fices and 20 training centres, FÁS operates training<br />

and employment programmes. It provides a recruitment service to jobseekers<br />

and employers, and an advisory service for industry, and supports communitybased<br />
