Umbrella group for organisations that share an interest in Irish genealogical<br />
research. Aims: provide a forum for voluntary organisations involved in<br />
genealogical research in Ireland; encourage preservation <strong>of</strong> and fullest public<br />
access to genealogical material; liaise with the various relevant state and<br />
semi-state bodies; promote public accessibility and quality <strong>of</strong> the records<br />
provided. It does not provide a research service and cannot handle individual<br />
genealogical queries.<br />

The Courts Service Act 1998 provided for the establishment <strong>of</strong> an independent<br />
Courts Service with a unified organisation and structure to manage the courts.<br />
Functions: manages the courts; provides support services for the judges;<br />
provides information on the courts system to the public; provides, manages<br />
and maintains court buildings; provides facilities for users <strong>of</strong> the courts. The<br />
Legal Diary, court sittings and venues, contact names and numbers for all<br />
<strong>of</strong>fices <strong>of</strong> the Courts Service are available on the Courts Service website. A<br />
number <strong>of</strong> other publications serve to explain the operation <strong>of</strong> the courts<br />
system in Ireland and the developments taking place in the Courts Service.<br />

Matters, Explaining the Courts, Courts Service News and Courthouse brochures.<br />

Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova and Thailand. Cradle is apolitical and<br />
provides aid to children without regard to their religion, ethnic background<br />
or nationality. Our focus is on child-based programmes such as school<br />
rebuilding, house building and student support projects. Also runs a children<br />
