establish the equality of both mothers and fathers in the parenting of their
children; to promote shared responsibility in parenting both within and
outside of marriage. Activities: provides information and support to callers
through weekly support meetings, personal support and on the websites,
www.parentalequality.ie and www.operationseahorse.ie; can assist in
developing shared parenting skills and parenting plans with its client group;
prepares submissions to statutory agencies, government committees
and departments; monitors and engages in ongoing media discussion of
relevant issues.
