Aims: to promote and support shared parenting and joint custody; to<br />

establish the equality <strong>of</strong> both mothers and fathers in the parenting <strong>of</strong> their<br />

children; to promote shared responsibility in parenting both within and<br />

outside <strong>of</strong> marriage. Activities: provides information and support to callers<br />

through weekly support meetings, personal support and on the websites,<br />

www.parentalequality.ie and www.operationseahorse.ie; can assist in<br />

developing shared parenting skills and parenting plans with its client group;<br />

prepares submissions to statutory agencies, government committees<br />

and departments; monitors and engages in ongoing media discussion <strong>of</strong><br />

relevant issues.<br />
