for the family as a whole. Merging with the Children’s Sunshine home in<br />

Foxrock, where the palliative care unit known as LauraLynn House will be<br />

part <strong>of</strong> the new hospice project.<br />

An independent corporate body established under the Law Reform<br />

Commission Act 1975. Its duty is to keep the national law <strong>of</strong> the State under<br />

review. Also, in accordance with the provisions <strong>of</strong> the Act, it undertakes<br />

examinations and conducts research with a view to reforming the law and<br />

to formulating proposals for law reform. The Commission also examines a<br />

particular branch or matter <strong>of</strong> law when requested to do so by the Attorney<br />

General. The Commission comprises a President and four Commissioners, all<br />

appointed by the government.<br />
