Campaigns peacefully for the total abolition of all animal experiments.
Pending this, it lobbies the Department of Health and Children, which
licences vivisection in Ireland, for partial reform prohibiting the most severe
procedures, decreasing the number and species of animals used, and the
acceptance and development of research and testing techniques that do
not involve animals. Rejects illegal action and is committed to producing
accurate literature and public statements.
