Pending this, it lobbies the Department <strong>of</strong> Health and Children, which<br />
licences vivisection in Ireland, for partial reform prohibiting the most severe<br />
procedures, decreasing the number and species <strong>of</strong> animals used, and the<br />
acceptance and development <strong>of</strong> research and testing techniques that do<br />
not involve animals. Rejects illegal action and is committed to producing<br />
accurate literature and public statements.<br />
