donations to charities; to ensure that regulation underpins public confidence<br />

in Irish charities and is appropriate to their needs.<br />

A sister organisation set up by the Irish Charities Tax Reform Group with the<br />

research into how policy on taxation and regulation impact on the work <strong>of</strong><br />

charities in Ireland; to provide information and advice to charities, and those<br />

with an interest in charities, on regulation and taxation issues that affect<br />

them; to organise high-quality, relevant education and training events for<br />

charities as issues arise.<br />
