MANUAL PROCEDURES FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF CONSULTING SERVICES
Unless sooner terminated, this Contract shall terminate after all the required deliverables have been complied and the
Consulting Firm/Consultant has submitted the Project Terminal Report. The maximum time period of this Contract is
SIX (6) months, including the warranty period, staring from the effectivity date of this Contract.
ARTICLE 7: FORCE MAJEURE
The failure of the Consulting Firm/Consultant to fulfill any of its obligations hereunder shall not be considered to be a
breach of, or default under, this Contract insofar as such inability arises from an event of force majeure, provided that
the Consulting Firm/Consultant has taken all reasonable precautions, due care and reasonable alternative measures,
all with the objective of carrying out the Agreements of this Contract.
The Consultant shall notify the DOH of any event of force majeure as soon as possible and in any event not later than
fifteen (15) days following the occurrence of such event, providing evidence of the nature and cause of such event, and
shall similarly give notice of the restoration of normal conditions as soon as possible.
The mutual rights and obligations of the DOH and the Consulting Firm/Consultant shall be as set forth in this Contract
Agreement, in particular:
1. The Consulting Firm/Consultant shall carry out the consulting services and the DOH shall review and accept
outputs and make payments to the Consulting Firm/Consultant, as herein stipulated in accordance with the
provisions of the Contract of Agreement.
2. The provisions contained in the pertinent Contract documents shall be binding between the parties.

of the Philippines, the day and year first before written:
