During FY 2011 the <strong>City</strong> Council approved three items directly or indirectly associated<br />

with the Oak Cliff Gateway TIF District. The council actions are listed below:<br />

• On October 10, 2010, Council approved Resolution 10-2847 authorizing an<br />

amendment to the development agreement with Lang Partners, LLC, previously<br />

approved on November 9, 2009, by Resolution Nos. 09-2816 and 09-2817, in<br />

Tax Increment Financing Reinvestment Zone Number Three (Oak Cliff Gateway<br />

TIF District) to: (1) extend the project deadline to begin construction from<br />

September 30, 2010 to March 31, 2011; (2) extend the project deadline to<br />

complete construction from December 31, 2011 to June 30, 2012; and (3)<br />

increase the TIF reimbursement from $5,500,000 to $7,250,000 - Not to exceed<br />

$1,750,000, from $5,500,000 to $7,250,000 - Financing: Oak Cliff Gateway TIF<br />

District Funds<br />

• On February 23, 2010, Council approved Resolution 11-0522 accepting the FY<br />

2010 Annual Report on the status <strong>of</strong> Tax Increment Financing Reinvestment<br />

Zone Number Three, (Oak Cliff Gateway TIF District), submitted by the Oak Cliff<br />

Gateway TIF District's Board <strong>of</strong> Directors, and authorizing the <strong>City</strong> Manager to<br />

submit the annual report to the Chief Executive Officer <strong>of</strong> each taxing jurisdiction<br />

that levies taxes on real property in the district, and to the Attorney General <strong>of</strong><br />

Texas, and the State Comptroller, as required by state law.<br />

• On August 10, 2011, Council held a public hearing and approved Resolution 11-<br />

2066 authorizing Ordinance 28333 to amend the <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Dallas</strong> Thoroughfare<br />

Plan to change the dimensional classification <strong>of</strong>: (1) Bishop Avenue from<br />

Colorado Boulevard to Neely Street from a four lane undivided roadway (S-4-U)<br />

within 60 feet <strong>of</strong> right-<strong>of</strong>-way to a special three lane undivided (SPCL-3-U) with<br />

bicycle lanes within 100 feet <strong>of</strong> right-<strong>of</strong>-way and 60 feet <strong>of</strong> pavement; and (2)<br />

Bishop Avenue from Neely Street to Davis Street from a four lane undivided<br />

roadway (S-4-U) within 60 feet <strong>of</strong> right-<strong>of</strong>-way to a four lane divided (S-4-D)<br />

within 100 feet <strong>of</strong> right-<strong>of</strong>-way; and at the close <strong>of</strong> the hearing, authorize an<br />

ordinance implementing the change.<br />
