An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 26908 which closed portions of South Boulevard
and Trezevant Street located near their intersection with Trunk Avenue, to extend the
deadline from 120 days to 180 days to receive approval from Dallas Area Rapid Transit
(DART) and to extend the dedication requirement of needed right-of-way from one year
to three years - Financing: No cost consideration to the City
BACKGROUND
This item authorizes the amendment of Ordinance No. 26908 which closed portions of
South Boulevard and Trezevant Street located near their intersection with Trunk
Avenue, to extend the deadline from 120 days to 180 days to receive DART’s Board
Resolution of approval and to extend the dedication requirement of needed right-of-way
from one year to three years.
PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
On August 22, 2007, Council approved Ordinance No. 26908.
