An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 26908 which closed portions <strong>of</strong> South Boulevard<br />

and Trezevant Street located near their intersection with Trunk Avenue, to extend the<br />

deadline from 120 days to 180 days to receive approval from <strong>Dallas</strong> Area Rapid Transit<br />

(DART) and to extend the dedication requirement <strong>of</strong> needed right-<strong>of</strong>-way from one year<br />

to three years - Financing: No cost consideration to the <strong>City</strong><br />

BACKGROUND<br />

This item authorizes the amendment <strong>of</strong> Ordinance No. 26908 which closed portions <strong>of</strong><br />

South Boulevard and Trezevant Street located near their intersection with Trunk<br />

Avenue, to extend the deadline from 120 days to 180 days to receive DART’s Board<br />

Resolution <strong>of</strong> approval and to extend the dedication requirement <strong>of</strong> needed right-<strong>of</strong>-way<br />

from one year to three years.<br />
