• Blackburn Mall
Streetscape construction completed in March 2001. Additional streetscape
improvements for two medians in Blackburn Street were made by the Uptown
Improvement District in 2009.
• Extension of the McKinney Avenue Trolley Service
The extension of the McKinney Avenue Trolley was completed during the first
quarter of calendar year 2002. The trolley extension provides trolley service to
the Cityplace DART station. During FY 2011 constructed started on a turntable
for the McKinney Avenue Trolley that will facilitate transit riders transferring to
and from the Cityplace subway station and the McKinney Avenue Trolley. The
turntable will be located at the intersection Cityplace West Boulevard and the
south bound service road of North Central Expressway.
