In April 2004, construction started on the<br />

W <strong>Dallas</strong> Victory Hotel and Residences.<br />

The project, consisting <strong>of</strong> two towers,<br />

has 251 hotel rooms, 145<br />

condominiums, and 42,500 square feet<br />

<strong>of</strong> retail space. Construction completed<br />

in June 2006. Total investment: $135<br />

million.<br />

In January 2005, construction started on<br />

The Terrace, a $20 million, eight-story,<br />

97 unit condominium building with<br />

24,000 square feet <strong>of</strong> retail space.<br />

Construction completed in November<br />

2006. Total investment: $20 million.<br />

In September 2004, construction on the<br />

Victory Plaza buildings began. The two<br />

buildings feature 65,000 square feet <strong>of</strong><br />

retail space and 155,000 square feet <strong>of</strong><br />

<strong>of</strong>fice space. WFAA-TV opened a<br />

“Times Square style” street front<br />

broadcast studio in the east building.<br />

The space between the buildings is used<br />

on Stars and Mavericks game days for<br />

rallies and events. Both buildings<br />

completed in January 2007. Total<br />

investment: $50 million.<br />

Next door to The Terrace, construction<br />

started in January 2005, on The Vista, a<br />

127-unit apartment building facing<br />

downtown. Construction on this $20<br />

million building with 28,000 square feet<br />

<strong>of</strong> retail space was completed in<br />

February 2007. Total investment: $20<br />

million.<br />
