FY 2010-2011 Annual Report<br />

Representative (1 <strong>of</strong> 1 meetings), Mike Kutner – <strong>City</strong> Representative (1 <strong>of</strong> 1 meetings),<br />

Leslie DeCillis – <strong>City</strong> Representative (0 <strong>of</strong> 1 meetings), Rick Loessberg – <strong>Dallas</strong> County<br />

Representative (0 <strong>of</strong> 1 meetings), Orlando Alameda – DISD Representative (1 <strong>of</strong> 1<br />

meetings), and Hector Flores – DISD Representative (1 <strong>of</strong> 1 meetings). There was one<br />

<strong>City</strong> position and one Hospital District position vacant.<br />

During the fiscal year, the <strong>City</strong> Council approved two items associated with the Design<br />

District TIF District:<br />

• On February 23, 2011, the <strong>City</strong> Council passed Resolution Number 11-0527<br />

accepting the FY 2010 Annual Report on the status <strong>of</strong> Tax Increment Financing<br />

Reinvestment Zone Number Eight, (Design District TIF District), submitted by the<br />

Design District TIF District's Board <strong>of</strong> Directors, and authorizing the <strong>City</strong> Manager to<br />

submit the annual report to the chief executive <strong>of</strong>ficer <strong>of</strong> each taxing jurisdiction that<br />

levies taxes on real property in the District, and to the Attorney General <strong>of</strong> Texas,<br />

and the State Comptroller, as required by state law.<br />

• On June 8, 2011, the <strong>City</strong> Council passed Ordinance Number 28222 granting a<br />

private license to LU12 <strong>Dallas</strong> Oak Lawn V, L.P. for the use <strong>of</strong> approximately 16<br />

square feet <strong>of</strong> aerial space to install and maintain one awning over a portion <strong>of</strong> Hi<br />

Line Drive near its intersection with Turtle Creek Boulevard - Revenue: $1,000<br />

annual fee plus the $20 ordinance publication fee.<br />

Pending TIF Items<br />

• Consideration <strong>of</strong> the FY 2011 TIF District Annual Report and a recommendation to<br />

the <strong>City</strong> Council for approval.<br />

• Review and approve amendments to the District’s By-Laws related to TIF Board<br />

representation and the design review function.<br />

• Review and approve overall TIF District design guidelines.<br />
