Year-End Summary <strong>of</strong> Meetings<br />

TIF Boards can consist <strong>of</strong> up to ten members including six <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Dallas</strong> appointees,<br />

two <strong>Dallas</strong> Independent School District (DISD) appointees, one <strong>Dallas</strong> County<br />

appointee and one <strong>Dallas</strong> County Hospital District appointee. The <strong>Dallas</strong> County<br />

Community College District (DCCCD) waived its Board representation for this TIF<br />

District.<br />

The Davis Garden TIF Board, which met four times during the fiscal year, consisted <strong>of</strong><br />

The <strong>Dallas</strong> <strong>City</strong> Council approved eighteen items during the fiscal year related to the<br />

District. These items are summarized below:<br />

On November 10, 2010, the <strong>City</strong> Council approved Resolution Number 10-2871,<br />

authorizing (1) a multi-faceted construction contract for: (a) Coombs Creek<br />

erosion control; (b) renovation <strong>of</strong> the Stevens Park Golf Course to include<br />

drainage, bridge construction, cart paths, soil preparation, grassing, and<br />

landscaping; (c) installation <strong>of</strong> a recycled water irrigation system and pump<br />

station in coordination with <strong>Dallas</strong> Water Utilities; and (d) construction <strong>of</strong> a<br />

service center maintenance facility and cart building at Stevens Park Golf Course<br />

located at 1005 North Montclair Avenue with Wadsworth Golf Construction<br />

Company, best value proposer <strong>of</strong> seven in the amount <strong>of</strong> $7,997,917; (2) an<br />

increase in appropriations in the Stevens Park Golf Course Improvement Fund in<br />

the amount <strong>of</strong> $3,500,000; (3) a loan from <strong>Dallas</strong> Water Utilities Capital<br />

Construction Fund in the amount <strong>of</strong> $3,500,000 to be repaid from golf revenue;<br />

and (4) an amendment to the golf pr<strong>of</strong>essional concession contract with James<br />
