Exhibit A - FY 2011 Annual Report<br />

The W <strong>Dallas</strong> Victory Hotel and Residences, completed in June 2006, added<br />

251 hotel rooms to the district. (Met goal.)<br />

• Develop 1,050,000 square feet <strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong>fice space.<br />

The Victory Plaza Buildings and One Victory Park, both complete, added<br />

585,000 square feet <strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong>fice space to the district. (56 percent <strong>of</strong> goal.)<br />

Year-End Summary <strong>of</strong> Meetings<br />

During the fiscal year from October 1, 2010 to September 30, 2011, the Sports<br />

Arena TIF District Board <strong>of</strong> Directors met once, on December 1, 2010. The Board<br />

approved and forwarded one item to <strong>City</strong> Council.<br />

The Board can consist <strong>of</strong> up to ten members, including five <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Dallas</strong><br />

appointees, two <strong>Dallas</strong> Independent School District appointees, one <strong>Dallas</strong> County<br />

appointee, one <strong>Dallas</strong> Community College District appointee, and one <strong>Dallas</strong><br />

County Hospital District appointee.<br />

During FY 2011 the Board members were (FY 2011 Board meetings attended): Eliza<br />

Solender – <strong>City</strong> Representative (1 <strong>of</strong> 1 meeting), Orlando Alameda – DISD<br />

Representative (1 <strong>of</strong> 1 meeting), Kitty Boyle, <strong>Dallas</strong> County Community College District<br />

(1 <strong>of</strong> 1 meeting), Hector Flores, DISD Representative (1 <strong>of</strong> 1 meeting), Rick Loessberg<br />

– <strong>Dallas</strong> County Representative (0 <strong>of</strong> 1 meeting), and Sue Pickens – <strong>Dallas</strong> County<br />

Hospital District Representative (0 <strong>of</strong> 1 meeting).<br />

During the fiscal year, the <strong>City</strong> Council approved three (3) items associated with the<br />

Sports Arena TIF District:<br />

• On January 12, 2011, <strong>City</strong> Council approved Resolution No. 11-0160,<br />

authorizing the optional redemption <strong>of</strong> the Sports Arena Project Taxable<br />

Special Tax Revenue Bonds, Series 1998B on February 15, 2011 in an<br />

amount not to exceed $8,455,000 in principal.<br />

• On February 23, 2011 <strong>City</strong> Council approved Resolution No. 11-0526,<br />

accepting the FY 2010 Annual Report on the status <strong>of</strong> Tax Increment<br />

Financing Reinvestment Zone Number Seven, (Sports Arena TIF District),<br />

submitted by the Sports Arena TIF District's Board <strong>of</strong> Directors, and<br />

authorizing the <strong>City</strong> Manager to submit the annual report to the chief<br />

executive <strong>of</strong>ficer <strong>of</strong> each taxing jurisdiction that levies taxes on real property<br />

in the District, and to the Attorney General <strong>of</strong> Texas, and the State<br />

Comptroller, as required by state law.<br />

• On June 22, 2011, <strong>City</strong> Council approved Resolution No. 11-1806,<br />

authorizing the optional redemption <strong>of</strong> the Sports Arena Project Taxable<br />
