FY 2011 Annual Report<br />

Year-End Summary <strong>of</strong> Meetings<br />

From October 1, 2010, through September 30, 2011, the <strong>City</strong>place Area Board <strong>of</strong><br />

Directors met two (2) times, January, 19, 2011 and September 29,. During FY 2010,<br />

the <strong>City</strong>place Area TIF District Board consisted <strong>of</strong> the following members:<br />

Jason Mayes – <strong>City</strong> Representative (Attended 1 <strong>of</strong> 2 meetings)<br />

Robert Ivey – <strong>City</strong> Representative (Attended 1 <strong>of</strong> 2 meetings)<br />

Kenneth Steinhardt – <strong>City</strong> Representative (Attended 2 <strong>of</strong> 2 meetings)<br />

Barry Annino – <strong>City</strong> Representative (Attended 2 <strong>of</strong> 2)<br />

Thomas Burleson – <strong>City</strong> Representative (Attended 2 <strong>of</strong> 2)<br />

Rick Loessberg – <strong>Dallas</strong> County Representative (Attended 1 <strong>of</strong> 2 meetings)<br />

Orlando Alameda – DISD Representative (Attended 1 <strong>of</strong> 2 meetings)<br />

Hector Flores – DISD Representative (Attended 1 <strong>of</strong> 2 meetings)<br />

Vacant – <strong>Dallas</strong> County Hospital District (DCHD)<br />

Vacant – <strong>Dallas</strong> County Community College District (DCCCD)<br />

During FY 2011, the <strong>City</strong> Council approved ten (10) items directly or indirectly<br />

associated with the <strong>City</strong>place Area TIF District. The council actions are listed below.<br />

• On December 8, 2010, the <strong>City</strong> Council approved Resolution 10-3026/ Ordinance<br />

No. 28063, abandoning a portion <strong>of</strong> <strong>City</strong>Place West Boulevard to Blackburn<br />

Central Holdings, L.P., the abutting owner, containing approximately 1,452<br />

square feet <strong>of</strong> land located near its intersection with U.S. Highway 75, authorizing<br />

the quitclaim, and providing for the dedication <strong>of</strong> approximately 16,997 square<br />

feet <strong>of</strong> land needed for street right-<strong>of</strong>-way.<br />

• On February 23, 2011, the <strong>City</strong> Council approved Resolution 11-0521, accepting<br />

the FY 2010 Annual Report on the status <strong>of</strong> Tax Increment Financing<br />

Reinvestment Zone Number Two, (<strong>City</strong>place Area TIF District), submitted by the<br />

<strong>City</strong>place Area TIF District's Board <strong>of</strong> Directors, and authorizing the <strong>City</strong> Manager<br />

to submit the annual report to the Chief Executive Officer <strong>of</strong> each taxing<br />

jurisdiction that levies taxes on real property in the District, and to the Attorney<br />

General <strong>of</strong> Texas, and the State Comptroller, as required by state law.<br />
