RVSM RULES - Standard.<br />

FLIGHT PLANNING<br />

(AFFSA/AFFSA FIL 04-657)<br />

1. For coordination of an instrument flight plan, the request<br />

must be made at least 30 minutes prior to planned departure<br />

time (10 minutes for VFR flights).<br />

2. <strong>The</strong> SENEAM Dispatch Services will be the only channel for<br />

reporting the flight plan under this procedure, using the<br />

frequency which will be published, and furnishing the following<br />

information, as appropriate:<br />

REGISTRATION/IDENTIFICATION/FLIGHT NUMBER.<br />

3. Once communication has been established the pilot will<br />

furnish the following information in the order corresponding to<br />

the flight plan format:<br />

a. Aircraft identification<br />

b. Flight rules, flight type<br />

c. Number, type of aircraft, wake turbulence category<br />

d. Equipment.<br />

e. Airport of departure, time<br />

f. Cruising speed, level, route<br />

g. Airport of destination, ETA, alternate airport(s)<br />

h. Additional information<br />

i. Endurance, persons on board, emergency radio<br />

equipment, survival equipment, vests, rubber rafts, color and<br />

markings of aircraft, remarks, license number, residence.<br />

4. Before engine startup, the pilot should make contact on<br />

ground, tower or clearance frequency, depending on the airport<br />

and the type of flight plan, to receive the appropriate<br />

instructions. Report that the flight plan has been coordinated.<br />

5. Flight plan in effect:<br />

a. Before the flight plan expires (1 hour 30 minutes after the<br />

planned departure time) an amendment should be requested to<br />

keep the filed flight plan in effect.<br />

b. When requesting an extension of the flight plan,<br />

meteorological information corresponding to the revised time of<br />

departure should be obtained.<br />

6. This procedure does not free the pilot from his<br />

responsibility.<br />

7. Flight plans will be coordinated will in the order in which the<br />

call is received, except in special cases or where priority has been<br />

predetermined or in an emergency.<br />

8. Communications should not be used for purposes other than<br />

provided they do so within the time frame established in the<br />

11. Recordings of communications made by radio frequency,<br />

telephone or intercom will be kept a maximum of 20 working<br />

days.<br />

12. This service is in effect at the following airports: MMAN,<br />

MMCV, MMMD, MMMX, MMMY, MMTC, MMTM, MMTO.<br />

MMAA, MMUN, MMCL, MMDO, MMGL, MMHO, MMLO,<br />

MMML, MMMM, MMMZ, MMOX, MMPR, MMSP, MMTJ, MMVR,<br />

MMVA, MMIO, MMZH.<br />

ROUTE <strong>AND</strong> AREA RESTRICTIONS -<br />

1. Aircraft will have an operational transponder with Mode 3/A,<br />

4096 code capability and Mode C while operating in the Mexico<br />

FIR and the Mazatlan Oceanic FIR.<br />
