2704 Controller Input Operators 11.2.3. Compensation for Sensor Non-Linearities The custom linearisation feature can also be used to compensate for errors in the sensor or measurement system. The intermediate points are, therefore, available in Level 1 so that known discontinuities in the curve can be calibrated out. Figure 11.2 shows an example of the type of discontinuity which can occur in the linearisation of a temperature sensor.
