13.3. WHAT ARE USER MESSAGES?<br />

A User Message takes the form of a pop window as shown below:-<br />

This is a similar format to that which occurs, for example, when an alarm occurs. See also<br />

Section 7.5. This message, however, can be displayed when a particular event - defined by<br />

the user - occurs. For example, a User Message can be displayed if it has been wired to a<br />

digital input to alert an operator to a particular event.<br />

User messages can only se set up in configuration level. They can, however, be inspected in<br />

Level 1.<br />

13.3.1. To Inspect User Messages<br />

Msg’ <strong>and</strong> ‘Dismissed’ are<br />

intended to be read over<br />

digital communications.<br />
