Disciplinary ProceduresResponsible <strong>and</strong>management of alllabour relating issues, namelygrievances <strong>and</strong> disciplinaryhearingsLabour Discipline ActionResponsible <strong>and</strong>management of alllabour discipline actions byensuring that charge sheetsare issued according to thestipulations contained in the<strong>Co</strong>nditions of Service(Disciplinary Procedures)<strong>Local</strong> Labour ForumResponsible to arrange all<strong>Local</strong>Labour Forum meetings (LLF)within <strong>Co</strong>uncil according tothe approved annual meetingscheduleSuspensionsManage approvedsuspensions<strong>and</strong> advise on pendingsuspensionswithin <strong>Co</strong>uncilOvertimeMonitor the working <strong>and</strong>remuneration of overtime interms of the <strong>Co</strong>nditions ofServices <strong>and</strong> relevant labourlawOccupational Health SafetyResponsible to ensure<strong>Co</strong>uncil’sadherence to theMonitoring compliance to the time frames interms of the disciplinary procedures as approvedin the disciplinary procedures (<strong>Co</strong>nditions ofService) <strong>and</strong> report monthly to the MMC <strong>and</strong>quarterly in the departmental report, in terms ofthe following:1. Total number of cases per department2. Status quo of each case by maintainingthe Disciplinary RegisterEnsuring charge sheets are issued within 5days after the date of appointing the prosecutor<strong>and</strong> presiding officer by reporting monthly to theMMC <strong>and</strong> quarterly in the departmental quarterlyreport on the following:1. Date of appointing the prosecutor <strong>and</strong> thepresiding officer2. Date of delivering the charge sheet<strong>Co</strong>-ordinating <strong>and</strong> arranging all <strong>Local</strong> LabourForum meetings as per the annual approvedmeeting schedule by reporting monthly to theMMC <strong>and</strong> quarterly as part of the departmentalquarterly report, by reporting on the following:1. Date approving the annual meetingschedule2. Distribution of agendas <strong>and</strong> minutes within10 working days before <strong>and</strong> after the meetingsReporting on the number of suspensions <strong>and</strong>progress in terms of finalizing the disciplinaryaction process by reporting monthly to the MMC<strong>and</strong> as part of the quarterly departmental reportby reporting the following:1. Number of suspensions per department2. Reasons therefore3. Progress in terms of disciplinary actionprocessMonitoring the working <strong>and</strong> remuneration ofovertime in terms of the <strong>Co</strong>nditions of Service<strong>and</strong> relevant labour law read with <strong>Co</strong>uncil’sapproved policy by reporting monthly to theMMC <strong>and</strong> quarterly as part of the departmentalquarterly reporting by reporting the following:1. Designation2. Total number of overtime hours workedper month3.
