There are no exceptions.1 1. Does my <strong>Jeep</strong> need special equipment to take part.?Although four-wheel-drive <strong>Jeep</strong> vehicles come fromthe factory ready for strenuous off-highway driving,the following equipment is STRONGLYRECOMMENDED for Jamboree vehicles:Front and rear tow-hooks should be properlymounted with high-test bolts. Draw bars orreceiver hitches are acceptable as an alternative torear tow-hooks. On some trails, tow-hooks aremandatory. If you do not have tow-hooks, you willbe limited in trail selections. Please see individualtrip descriptions for details.A full-size spare tire. In case of puncture, a spacesaver(or “donut”) spare just doesn’t cut it on thetrail.Skid plates covering the gas tank and transfer case.Rock rails for <strong>Jeep</strong> Cherokee and Grand Cherokeevehicles. (Please contact the Jamboree office foradditional information.)Heavy-duty, 20 foot long nylon tow straps (20,000pound minimum) with looped ends (no hooks).No body lifts or suspension lifts over three inchescombined are allowed. A frozen jug or two oficed tea or lemonade makes a great refresher, butalcohol and off-highway driving don’t mix.NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AREALLOWED ON ANY TRAIL RIDE forconsumption by <strong>Jeep</strong> Jamboree participants.Violation of this rule will result in the removal ofvehicle and occupants from the Jamboree. Theirmoney will not be refunded, and they will bebanned from future Jamborees.SnacksA tent, if camping outdoors.Warm clothes. It may be warm when you arrive,but temperatures can plummet overnight.Insect repellent.
