Quantitative scheme <strong>of</strong> osmotic dehydration <strong>of</strong> apple in sugar beet molassesThe purpose <strong>of</strong> the process <strong>of</strong> osmotic dehydration <strong>of</strong> apple is to reduce the moisturecontent, i.e. increase the dry matter content in the sample. At the same time with waterdiffusion, coming up to the diffusion <strong>of</strong> sugar <strong>and</strong> minerals from plant tissue in theosmotic solution, <strong>and</strong> vice versa. As a result we obtain nutritionally enriched applewhich can be used as a supplement in functional food <strong>and</strong> the osmotic solution, slightlydiluted sugar beet molasses, but very suitable for using in animal nutrition.Molasses after osmotic dehydration has slightly altered mineral composition <strong>and</strong>therefore does not lose the quality. In silage it can improve tastefulness <strong>and</strong> increase itsnutritional value. In mixture <strong>of</strong> food molasses reduces pulverulentes, it is good binder forpelleting feed <strong>and</strong> can be used as a carrier for various drugs. It is useful as a liquid233
