1 st WorkshopXIII International Feed Technology Symposiumhaemoglobin <strong>and</strong> haematocrit were established using the Serono Backer 9120 automaticcounter. Blood smears were prepared <strong>and</strong> stained according to Pappenheim <strong>and</strong>investigated under a microscope in order to determine the differential blood count. Therelative ratio <strong>of</strong> individual cells <strong>of</strong> leukocytes is given in percentages in relation to theirtotal number. The data were analyzed using the general linear model procedure <strong>of</strong> theStatistica [14].RESULTS AND DISCUSSIONTables 1, 2, <strong>and</strong> 3 presented complete blood count, excluding number <strong>of</strong> leucocytes <strong>and</strong>differetial white blood, because we use them like immunohaematological parameters.Piglets <strong>of</strong> all groups on the beginning <strong>of</strong> the trial had similar number <strong>of</strong> erytrocytes <strong>and</strong>erythrocyte constants (MCV, MCH, MCHC, RDW), haemoglobine <strong>and</strong> haematocrit(Table 1).Table 1.
