When you changethe bypass status of such a plug-in on the fly the DelayComp status LED turns red and,on the next Stop, Delay compensation is recomputed and the status LED returns togreen.Most VST plug-ins provide a private 'bypass', (inside the plug-in's own user interface),which enables clean, click-free and state-safe bypassing, without latency change (i.e. theplug-in maintains the same latency whether it is bypassed or not).
