SectionsFrom top to bottom, Strip Tools contains the following Sections:Input LevelThis section contains the input level control and shows the name of the mixer stripthis instance of the plug-in is assigned to.DynamicsThis section contains a compressor. It can be switched, as shown here, to act as adecompressor.ExpanderThis is a downwards expander. It can also be switched to act as an upwards expander.EqualizerThis is a five band fully parametric equalizer. Each band can be switched to high orlow pass, shelving or peaking characteristics.OutputThis section controls the output level of the strip tool and also offers automatic gainmake up for the compressor.Common FeaturesEach Section or module of Strip and Bus Tools has a number of controls in common.Title BarA text description of Section’s function, e.g. Input, Dynamic etc. Also contains:Show/Hide triangleAt top left of every Section a grey triangle toggles between showing or hiding the section. Clicking a triangle withShift held down opens the Section (If hidden) and hides all other Sections. Clicking a Section with Ctrl. held downopens all Sections.Note: Sections remain active when hidden.Section On/Off ButtonBetween the Show/Hide triangle and the Section Title is the On/Off button for the Section.KnobsThe position indicator dot lights orange when the control is at the default value.
