Simply launch the Waveform Generator application, click on the ... button to open a file browser, navigate to thefolder containing the audio media files and tick the Include sub-folders if you wish. It really is that simple.Tab WindowsTab ArrangementTab Windows have long been a powerful aid to productivity in Pyramix. In Version 6 you can still use Tab Windowsin the same way as previous versions but you will miss out on some major ‘Power <strong>User</strong>’ features if that is all you do.Just as before, clicking on a Tab opens the associated Window in the space below the Project Editing Panel anddouble-clicking a Tab opens the associated Window floating. Double-clicking the title-bar of a floating Tab Windowrestores it to the space below the Project Editing panel.Tab BehaviourIn Version 6 Tabs can be ‘torn away’ to open as floating Windows in blank screen space by simply clicking on theTab and dragging. clicking the X closes a floating Window and the Tab is removed from the Tab pool. This meansthat the interface can be streamlined by removing Tabs you never use or which are inappropriate for the specifictask in hand. Tabs removed in this way can be restored by choosing View > Editor Tabs and clicking on therequired Tab or Show all Tabs to restore all closed Tabs.Apart from this last feature, the ability to remove Tabs from the user interface, simple Tab behaviour is almostidentical to previous versions. However, there are many other things you can do with Tabs to enhance productivity.Hiding and Showing All TabsTo quickly Close all Tabs, Show all Tabs, or Toggle Show/Close all Tabs and to find the other Tab display optionsgo to the menu View > Editor Tabs.In the Project Editing pane, clicking on the Magnify/Maximise Timeline box at the junction of the vertical andhorizontal scroll bars also actuates Toggle Show/Close all Tabs.Productivity : Tab Windows 25 - 430
Tab Docking and NestingFloating Tab Windows can be nested or docked together in the Program Window or in floating Windows by simplyclicking and dragging. When a Tab Window or group of Windows is clicked and dragged, small blue “landinglights” appear indicating where the Tab can be docked in the main Program Window with a center block of fiveindicating where the Tab can be docked in the Window or panel it is currently being dragged over.Tab Window “Landing Lights”Thus, in the highly artificial screenshot above, it is the Markers Tab Window that has been clicked and dragged.The peripheral blue landing lights indicate where in the main programme window it can be docked and the centrelanding lights indicate where in the Notes Tab Window it can be docked.Productivity : Tab Windows 25 - 431
